Bradshaw Interceptor

Section 7C and Macready Avenue Reconstruction Phase II

Overview

The Bradshaw Interceptor Section 7C includes installation of 900 feet of 84-inch diameter reinforced concrete (RCP) pipe that will be constructed at an average depth of 28 feet along Macready Avenue on the Mather Airport property through soils contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons. The Bradshaw 7C project includes a coordinated effort with the County of Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) and the Sacramento County Department of Transportation (SACDOT) to complete roadway improvements on Macready Avenue between Silver Wings Street and Eknes Street.

In addition to the pipe installation on the Mather property, a junction structure and 500 feet of 72- inch diameter RCP pipe will be constructed near the intersection of North Mather Boulevard and Zinfandel Drive in the City of Rancho Cordova. This structure will provide a tie-in location for the future Mather Interceptor Project.

The project is scheduled to begin in April 2008. The completion of the Macready Avenue work is expected in October 2008, while the Junction Structure work should be completed in July 2009.

Major Milestones Scheduled
