UNWI 1 & 2 - Part of the Elkhorn and Natomas Boulevard Sewer Connection Project

Upper Northwest Interceptor 1 & 2 work consists of:

• installation by tunneling methods of over 19,000 feet of 144-inch pipe
• construction of 2 transition structures
• construction of 21 manholes
• connection to 3 existing trunk sewer lines
• installation of construction shafts and associated tunneling support facilities
