Wastewater Conveyance & Treatment

The Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD) owns and operates the regional wastewater conveyance system and the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (SRWTP), located in Elk Grove, California. SRWTP employs reliable treatment processes that mirror nature's handling of wastewater, with an important advantage: what nature might take months to complete, the treatment plant completes in about eight hours.
